Pablo Andrés, born in Alcalalí, began his training with a degree in music, specializing in composition—a field that attracted him due to his fascination with the use of new technologies applied to music and his curiosity for exploring instrumentation and contemporary orchestrations. From his early years of study, he has combined his love for music with a constant quest for innovation, which has been a fundamental pillar in his career, both academically and professionally.
He studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo de València (CSMV), where he had the opportunity to train under the guidance of distinguished professors such as Marc Garcia Vitoria and Voro García. Later, he decided to further his education abroad, spending an academic year at the prestigious Haute école de musique Genève - Neuchâtel (HEM) in Geneva. During his stay in Switzerland, he worked with renowned composers like M. Jarrell, L. Naón, and A. Alsina, who significantly influenced his compositional style, giving him a more international and experimental perspective.
Regarding his creative trajectory, Pablo Andrés has premiered several works on important stages. His piece Llimbs was presented at two prestigious venues in València: the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències and the Centre Cultural La Beneficència. He also performed the work Leggo my EGO at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, demonstrating his ability to integrate different musical languages into his compositions. In 2023, his work Le cauchemar sonore was featured at the Archipel festival (Geneva), where he used an acousmonium with over 80 speakers, exploring sound spatialization. Another notable work is Just Breathe, a piece for piano and audiovisual performed by Juliette Dournaud at the HEM’s Blackbox, which stands out for its careful interaction between music and visual media.
Among his most representative creations is La nef des fous, premiered at Studio 49 in Geneva, a work he considers pivotal in his career thus far. His interest in multidisciplinary creation led him to participate in the Académie Voix Nouvelles 2024 at the Fondation Royaumont, where he collaborated in the creation of a collective opera under the direction of prominent composers such as Francesco Filidei, Sivan Eldar, and Bernhard Lang. Additionally, he has received support from the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC) for the premiere of his work Iso(lament), a composition for percussion trio and multimedia.

Currently, he continues his training in the field of applied sonology, pursuing a master’s degree in artistic education at the CSMV. In this program, he works under the guidance of professors such as Carlos D. Perales, Marta Verde, Pere Vicalet, Brian Martínez, and Miguel Ángel Berbis, exploring new forms of sound and multimedia creation.
Pablo Andrés’s musical aesthetics result from a personal combination of life experiences, his love for artistic expression, and his passion for mathematics. These three seemingly disparate fields converge in his works, creating music that reflects his analytical and emotional approach, merging the technical and the creative into a profound and innovative artistic expression.
